F57 - 87% Yellow - Clip On
Filter Number: 57
Lens Colour: Yellow
Visible Light Transmission: 87%
Protection: Ultraviolet, Blue Blocker (100%)
Recommendations:
Poor Vision in Darker Conditions
Improve Contrast Sensitivity
Each filter colour has a Visible Light Transmission (VLT) figure, which indicates the percentage of light passing through the filter. A low value will block more light from entering the eye; a high value allows more light into the eye. You should avoid a VLT% that is too dark for your needs for safety reasons.
The yellow filter has the potential to enhance contrast, improve visual acuity and brighten images.
The clip on & flip up frame simply clips onto your prescription spectacles and can be flipped up when the filter is not required. The clip on frame comes in two sizes, small and large.
Please note: Frame images are shown in greyscale, please refer to the colour swatch above as a guide to the tint of these filters.
